The Lincolnshire Refugee Doctor Project is proud to be supported by a network of organisations and individuals helping asylum seeking and refugee doctors in the UK. These valued partners provide essential services including; peer support and cross referral from other programmes, NHS organisations who provide clinical placements and employment opportunities for our members and funding opportunities to strengthen our ability to offer services to our members.

“I attended the Great British Folk Festival, it was the last sets of the Friday evening and I had the choice of 2 bands to go to see, both of which I had heard but never seen. I chose to see Merry Hell, that was a great choice for the finale of that Friday evening but also started a journey of continued help and support to us, from this great band that is Merry Hell. During their set I heard for the first time ‘We Need Each Other Now’ it had immediate impact on me as it was so relevant to the work the Lincolnshire Refugee Doctor Project (LRDP) is doing. I contacted the band to see if they would allow us to use this song and its video in our publicity, they agreed without hesitation.

Since then, this brilliant song has and will always be associated with LRDP as it sums up the reason, we are doing the work we are. When you listen to this song and watch the video, it also has major significance to what has happened in 2020 during the COVID 19 outbreak.
